Rosa Johnson Coon celebrates 100th birthday recently

Rosa Johnson Coon celebrated her 100th birthday on October 29, 2007. She was joined by family, friends, and “neighbors” in the Elba Nursing Home, Elba, Alabama.
She was born on October 29, 1907 to Lewis Love and Rhetta Johnson and has lived her entire life in the local area.
She has 3 sons, Charles, Kenneth, and Wendell, who are all deceased. She received many cards and gifts, but the highlight of presents were balloons sent to her by her only living sibling, Rena Reeves of Austin, Texas.
