Johnson - Bowers engagement announced

Ingemar and Jan Johnson of Opp are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Abbey Marie Johnson, to Timothy Brandon Bowers of Elba, son of Tim and Debbie Bowers of Elba.
The bride-elect is the great-granddaughter of the late Max and Eunice Johnson of Opp and the granddaughter of Ken Quellet of Knoxville, Tenn. and Gloria Romanelli of Pierson, Fla.
She is a graduate of Troy University with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education.
The prospective groom is the grandson of Mac and Miriam McKnight of Elba, Jim and Linda Dodson of Milton, Fla., the late Ann Morehead and the late Travis (Pug) Bowers.
He is a graduate of Enterprise-Ozark Community College with a degree in aviation.
The marriage will take place at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 21, in Destin, Fla. Invitations will be sent.
