Mini-health fair held in Elba

The Coffee County Family Care Center of Elba conducted a mini-health fair last Friday morning, June 29, in the parking lot of the Elba Marketplace. Physician assistant Casey Bush and her staff assisted those who stopped by the tent with various health checks such as height, weight and body mass indexes, blood pressure checks and blood glucose fingersticks. Those who attended also were able to register for door prizes. Above, Coffee County Family Care Center LPN Anna Harrelson (right) does a blood pressure check during the mini health fair. As announced by officials of the Elba General Hospital and Nursing Home, the Coffee County Family Care Center is set to open in mid-July in the former office of Dr. Glenn Roberts.
