Elba man dies in wreck

An Elba man died last Friday, Aug. 3, as the result of a two-vehicle accident on Alabama Highway 167 in Coffee County.
The accident reportedly happened around 9:55 a.m. last Friday morning on Hwy. 167 about five miles north of Enterprise at the Boy Scout Road intersection. Tony Tyrone Daniels, age 39, of Elba, was killed when his 2005 Buick Century collided with a  2009 Chrysler Sebring, driven by Michael Bush, age 18, of Enterprise.
Daniels’ daughter, Jacquetta, age 18, a 2012 graduate of Elba High School, was a passenger in his vehicle. She was taken to a Dothan hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in this crash.
Reports indicate Bush was treated at the scene and released.
The accident was investigated by the Alabama State Troopers office.
