NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Elba, Alabama’s Appropriate Municipal Official, pursuant to Ordinance No. 07252016F, has made a finding that a building located on the following described property is a dangerous building because it is unsafe to the extent that it is a public nuisance and is subject to demolition: STREET ADDRESS: 1043 North Morrow Avenue, ELBA LEGAL DESCRIPTION: Lot #4. Block “B”, Northwest Addition to Morrow Subdivision in the City of Elba, Alabama, according to map or plat of same as recorded in the Probate Records of Coffee County, Alabama, in Misc. Book 8, Page 573, and further described as follows: Commencing at the intersection of Morrow Street and the southeast corner of said Lot #4, Block “B”, and running thence in a westerly direction 160 feet; thence North 91.7 feet; thence easterly 174.5 feet to Morrow Street; thence along the west margin of Morrow Street in a southerly direction 90 feet to the Point of Beginning. Said lot lying and being in the NW¼ of SW¼, Section 5, T5N, Range 20E, Coffee County, Alabama. PARCEL IDENTIFICATION NUMBER: 11-03-05-3-002-017.000 All persons interested in said property are hereby notified that if the unsafe or dangerous condition is not remedied by demolition of said building on said property within 45 days of 29 day of April 2019, the demolition will be accomplished by the City and the cost thereof assessed against said property. In the meantime, it is ordered that said building and said property be and remain vacated.
