Elba Lady Tigers at city hall

Mayor Mickey Murdock personally wished the Elba Lady Tigers good luck in their playoff endeavors earlier this week when the team visited the mayor at his office in downtown Elba. On Monday, Feb. 10, the coaches and players came to Elba City Hall where Mayor Murdock congratulated them on a highly successful season and wished the young ladies good luck in their sub-regional game later that night against Pleasant Home. The Lady Tigers went on to defeat Pleasant Home 51-27 to advance to the State Regionals. The Lady Tigers will play at 3 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, at Garrett Coliseum in Montgomery.
