kinston game ball

The Kinston Bulldogs celebrated an historic night last Friday night, Nov. 5, when the Bulldogs hosted their first ever playoff game. In honor of history being made, the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department added to the night’s electric atmosphere by delivering the ‘game ball’ via helicopter. Above, the Coffee County Sheriff Department helicopter is shown making its landing at midfield prior to the start of the football game. The School Resource Officer for Kinston School exited the helicopter after it safely landed and delivered the game ball to Kinston principal Megan Driggers. The Bulldogs continued to make history Friday night with a win over its opponent (see Page 9 for more on the game).
