Elba’s Raeann McCollough, CFP, an institutional financial advisor at Avadian Financial Services in Alabama, recently attended LPL Financial’s Achieve 2021 conference as a recipient of the firm’s Rising Star Scholarship.

Selected for her commitment in her role and her potential within the financial services industry, McCollough earned a spot at the invite-only annual event that brings together approximately 100 of LPL’s top women advisors and program managers to share ideas, celebrate their success and cultivate a community of women within LPL.

“I feel incredibly honored to be chosen for this scholarship and for the opportunity to learn from successful women leaders in our industry,” McCollough said. “As a woman in a male-dominated field, it’s refreshing to connect with female advisors who have paved the way for greater diversity and who want to provide more access to independent financial advice. I left inspired by these women, and eager to elevate and deepen relationships with the clients I serve.”

Kraleigh Woodford, LPL senior vice president, business development, said the scholarship is intended to encourage the advisors’ leadership and professional development and support their career trajectory.

McCollough has provided financial services to more than 300 clients in Alabama, Georgia, Florida and New York for five years. She provides a full range of financial planning services.
