The Elba High School English Team competed Friday, Feb. 22, in the Enterprise State Community College English Tournament. The 12 students from Elba participated in various categories, such as British Literature, American Literature, and Speech. Three students received honors for their respective category. Junior Taylor Boswell placed first in the Speech category. Junior Kymbria Bimbo received an honorable mention in the vocabulary category, and senior Denyia Wilkerson earned an honorable mention in British Literature.
