Parker Driggers

Brantley High School senior Parker Driggers delivered big for his school last week during the Alabama High School Athletic Association’s track championships held at Cullman High School for Class 1A-3A. Driggers won first place in the 100-meter dash Saturday, May 4, with a winning time of 11.06 seconds. He also brought home the first place medal in shot put throwing for a distance of 47’5”. Parker finished second in the 200-meter dash finals clocking a time of 23.30. Winner Tyrell Pierce of Loachapoka won with a 23.08 time. The Brantley boys relay team brought home the third place medal in the 4 x 100 meter relay with a combined time of 45 seconds.
